Privacy Policy

Summary

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us. We only receive personal information when you send us a message through the contact form.

Calculator data

Everything you enter (salary, loan amount, age, and so on) is processed on your device by JavaScript. It is not transmitted to our servers and we do not store it.

Contact form

If you write to us, we collect your first and last name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to reply and to improve the site. The form is processed by Netlify Forms and protected against spam by hCaptcha, which may collect technical information such as your IP address and browser details to tell humans from bots. We do not sell or rent your information.

Third-party services loaded by the site

• Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, date and time) for security and operations.
• Google Fonts serves the Inter typeface. When a page loads, your browser requests the font from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
• hCaptcha loads only on the contact page.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

Calculon.ca does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy before doing so and will request your consent where the law requires it.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, and when required by law.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Use the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above.
